Important event number one: My best friends wedding. Lauren and I have been friends for many years. 24 to be exact. We grew up living next door to each other until she went to college in 2003. Five years later she came back to me! We rented an apartment and lived together for a year. During this year she fell in love with my other best friend, Brad. It didn't take long for Brad to move in. Describing that year as fun would be an understatement.
It also didn't take long for Brad, Lauren and anyone who knew them to realize that they were meant for each other He proposed and they got married in April, 2010.
Let me back track a few years. The first time Lauren met Brad was not the year that we lived together. It was somewhere between 2006-2007 (depending on who you ask) when Lauren and I were drinking margaritas at a mexican restaurant. Brad, being the outgoing person that he is, walked over to our booth to introduce himself and his 100 friends that he was with. We all chatted for a little bit, exchanged numbers to hang out sometime and that was that. Lauren went back to college but Brad and I stayed in touch. For the next few years we became best friends which led to the day that Lauren and Brad reunited :) The rest is history.

Hello World
Welcome to my blog! So many important and wonderful things have happened in my life this past year that I want to share them with my friends and family. I am challenging myself to write at least one blog a week. Some blogs might have stories of events, travels, family and friends; but I also want to use the this blog as a place to share ideas of scrap booking, photography, decorating and cooking. Yes I said it. I have a new found interest in cooking! Since I have not been active in studying or practicing any of these hobbies I am really interested in learning new and creative ideas, so feel free to share and teach me through my blog (or my cell :)).
I hope you are as excited about reading my blogs as I am about writing them!
Love always,
Stephanie
